Corkscrew Mine looking to expand westward?

Corkscrew Mining Ventures, Ltd. was issued a permit last week to drill a series of test borings on an 85 acre parcel of land to the west of the Westwind Corkscrew Mine. Click here to see the permit.

As of August 05, 2003, the owner of record was listed as Trico Shrimp Co. There is another 85 acre parcel owned by Charlie King between this parcel and the mine.
